I am thinking to buy a case...for my new guitar..
What you all think with your experince and ideas..

Get a hard case, it's better. When i had my electric in a gig bag i was fretful, and like hoping nobody leaned against it or anything in fear that they would break it. Although I do find a gig bag more comfortable to carry around cause it can be toted like a bookbag. it could also depend on where you're going with your guitar. Like if your touring or practicing and your loading up a van or something full of equipment or something you would need a hsc to protect all the other stuff from banging and crashing in to it, but if you just take trips around the corner a gigbag would be much more accomodating .

I would get a hard case if i were you, i have one in the shape of a rectangle and it means that i can carry other stuff like effects in the case.
Anyway get a hard case because it will protect you guitar alot more.

A hard shell case here can cost between $50-120 from what i've seen. Depends on what kind your getting.
