Anyone here got to play Dean's 25th anniversary Time Capsule Cadillac? Reviews say it's as good for country pickin and jazz as it is for rock. It looks one cool mutha of a guitar.

I saw that thing and almost vomited out my arse... not to be contrary but I think it's one of the most hideous-looking guitars ever made!!! But I too have heard that it's great tone-wise. I've never played one but I've played a few Deans, and they sounded great. The HardTail is really awesome.

i think the caddys are sick! i like them just because they look like ****. no one seems to ever want one and i hear they sound good. i would buy one just because everyone bitches about them. go ahead and be another guy with a fender or actually do your own thing and make your own look.

Not sure about that particular model but my Dean MAB-1 Armoured Flame just arrived yesterday - it's a very impressive guitar. The craftsmanship is excellent, comes with an orignal Floyd Rose tremelo which is easily as good and the LoPro on my Jem and Universe. The EMG pickups are also great - I used to be a passive only guy but active pups add a hell of a lot of gain and burn to lead parts. Just pitcheing on on the Dean thread as a recent convert - great guitars!
