Rancid is great...matt freeman(bassist)is phenominal
its got alot of punk tossed in...eh..punk/ska
there songs are catchy...very good song writing
it WILL put a smile on your face.Blast it on the way to the beach.

If you like Rancid listen to Operation Ivy, that's pretty much rancid but there playing ska. A couple of other good ska bands are Catch 22 (really really good), and Reel Big Fish. Those are my favorite but I dont listen to much ska anymore.
