i hear the US military making Iraqi POW's listen to Metallica round the clock to get them to confess re: whereabouts of WMDs.Is 'Sandman' the best way to get them talking? I reckon Mariah Carey/Celine Dion spliced with r n b/garage/rap and a hefty mix of 70's prog rock while being made to watch 'The Wedding Planner' would have them begging for mercy in no time.

I kind of liked Henry Rollins' solution to the problems of the middle east (well, it was specifically Israel/Palestine but it all works): just drop a whole ton of Ramones CD's, tapes, records, shirts, etc and flood the airwaves with their songs & videos. Then everyone in the middle east will become Ramones fans, and rather than blow eachother up, they'll be brothers & sisters and get together to drink, eat pizza and headbang. Gabba gabba hey!
