Hey,
Well.. It's sort of a long story really, back when I was a small kid, I used to save every dime I got my hands on, cause my Mom and Dad got me a savings account and I used to think... Bank Account = Power, so I wanted mine to grow...FAST!
I had over $1,500.00 by the time I was in third grade, I had probably close to $6,000.00 until I cashed in this year and replaced my junk electric, and amp. with the Gibson and Marshall... that set me back about $1,200.00
By the way the SG isn't the high gloss finish Special, it's the faded special that runs for about $600.00 most places. its not the best, but it's good enough for right now!
Now, my cousin has a Gibson SG Standard, a Marshall 4x12 and head...IT IS A NICE SETUP! Not to mention it cost about 4 times as much as mine!
Some people have all the luck!

With this new job I got I plan to get a Mesa and something a little more exotic than my current crop of guitars (SG, Tele, Gretsch and Kramer)... probably a Fly or something...
My first setup was an Epi SG and a Vox. Hell yeah....
