Cakewalk or Cool Edit Pro

Which do you guys prefer, cakewalk or cool edit pro. i use cakewalk, but never used cool edit, is it any good?

I've had them all and personally I like pro tools. You can get a free version of protools at http://www.digidesign.com
You got to have Win98 though. It doesn't support XP or NT.
