Experience with k&k ULTRA pure western?

Hi!

Does anybody make use of the k&k pure western with the Ultra Pure preamp? I have some questions about it:

Is it still possible to make use of a feedback-buster?

Can I adjust the volume without a screwdriver?

Does the pickup itself still work even if there´s no battery energy for the preamp?

IS IT A GOOD PREAMP? I know that there is no preamp necessary because the pickup itself is quite powerful. Does the preamp change the signal in any negative or positive way?

Hello again!

What I NEED to know is if you can still use a feedback-buster with the preamp installed in the soundhole.

I have already put this question in about 6 or 8 different forums on the internet but did not get any answer yet.
