Hey guys, I own a jackson with floyd-rose bridge. On the whole I like the floyd rose system, but a few things bug me, like the whole double-bend issue (discussed on another thread in this section), and how I can't really drastically change tunings without having to adjust springs and stuff like that. I heard of something called a TREM-SETTER that will solve all these problems. I found a site listing all the things it can do:
http://www.hipshotproducts.com/tremfaq.htm
but it sounds wayyy too good to be true (advertizing propaganda). Can anyone tell me about these trem-setters? Will it really solve my problems? What are the downsides (if any)? Is it worth the money?

It's been around since the late 80's. I've been using them forever. They aren't a bad price now either. And yes... they do work. If you check the other post, I actually provide a link to a place where you can actually order it.

Thanks hairbndrckr, but isn't there a downside, or else why wouldn't they just include them in guitars? Like decreased range of motion?
