Y can I see merely few threads when the counter says that there are more then 400+ ??? :(

The threads are arranged in pages. If you want to see more, you have to click on the link to the next page, and more older threads should come up.

Another way of doing it is to go to the box in the top right corner of the on the forum menu page, the on with all the threads listed on it, that says "show threads from:" and click the arrow. This allows you to look at older threads.

The search facility is also a really cool thing that appears to be very under used. If you have a problem it is likely they some one else has had it too in the past and a solution is available immediately with out the bother of waiting for people to reply to your post !

A more permanent version of the good doctor's method, is to click on the profile icon at the top of this page (or any other Forum page), and scroll down to the bottom of the settings list. There's a drop-down list of Default Thread View: settings that will adjust your listings from 2 days to a full year. This can slow down the time it takes to load the directory pages, so some restraint is in order here. I use the search feature to look for specific topics. I'm here often enough that 10 days' worth of thread listings is usually all I need. Your mileage may vary.
