1)Which songs(after studing them) made you a better guitarist...???
2)When you wake up at the morning and the day is cold can play guitar as usual...Or you need a warm up???

to answer your first question, learning black star definately helped me on my sweeping and speed. also eruption helped my on my finger endurance. crazy train was the first real song i learned all the way through, which i guess is always beneficial.

as for you second one. i live in chicago, so its cold a lot. no matter what temperature my fingers have to warm up, but in the cold it usually takes a little longer.

Dream Theater. Learn some of their songs, and you're bound to get good.

Like trendkillah said, evrything Iīve learned have helped me and always make sure to get good blood circulation before playn. I always keep my room pretty hot and I hate to play when itīs cold.

Before I used to stretch my fingers like Petrucci does on Rock Discipline video but a doctor told that it isnīt good so I stoped. Now I usualy rob my hand against eachother and play the following solos (Civil War (all three), Estranged (both) Nightrain (both) and Shock Me), I really donīt know why but I feel comfortable somehow and has been doinī that for last 2 years and than Iīm ready to roll.

Is it really bad to stretch your fingers? I mean, I don't stretch them per se, but I do bend them backwards to stretch the muscles and tendons, and they feel nice and relaxed afterwards. Is it really harmful?

The doc told me so but I never felt no pain while I was doing that and I was doing it for like 2 yrs, but I donīt feel no pain now either since I stoped. So I donīt really know what to think except that it depends on human body. Doc said that it depends how easily you get sick and get infections and also itīs dangerous to play while you allready have a infection and are sick.

Thatīs encourages me pretty much īcause Iīm almost never sick.

One more thing. Donīt overplay. Letīs say that youīre doinī 4 hrs evryday than donīt suddenly change into 10 hrs, than go back to 4, than 2 than 8... I think playnī regularly is important. 1 our 2 days probably donīt mean nothing but if you change it constantly, than I think you run a bigger risk for tendonitis crap.

Yeah ok. I'm almost never sick either. My music keeps me healthy:)

I play about 5 hours every day now, but seeing as it's vacation for me right now, I play much more. I wanna get it up to a level where I can play 10 h per day without gettng to tired. I've done it a couple of times, but at the end of the day, I'm toast...
