I'm looking for some suggestions on a decent used combo amp with a limited budget. Here are some I'm thinking of please post what you might think is the better amp. These are within my budget. I cant afford a tube amp by the way :-( Besides I already have a good tube stack but I need something to travel with. Anything not on the list is a welcome thing too.

CRAte GX-212 BLUE 2X12 100W

CRATE GT-80 BLACK 2 CH. W/REVERB

FENDER 85 BLACK 80WATT RED KNOBS

FENDER PRNCTON112 BLACK 2 CHAN W/ REVERB

FENDER M-80 GREY 1X12 NO FTSWTCH

IBANEZ TB-50R BLACK 2 CH., W/REVERB (Tube)

PEAVEY STUDIO PRO BLACK 112 TT (transtube)

PEAVEY CHORUS 210 BLACK STEREO 70W

This is what I have it narrowed down to. Any suggestions are very welcome. I will be playing various things.. Some needing thick distortion, some needing a good clean sound. I do have a Genex 1 and a Zoom 505II (i know lol) so I guess the most important things to me are stability and clean sound.

Marshall DSL401 is quite good, I had one before I went head and cab, 40 watts, valve, nice sound to it for metal, but the clean sound was punchy and sweet £400 I don't know about dollars though.

Yorkville Traynor Custom Valve 80 is great but if you want to travel Traynor Custom Valve 40 is better. Unfortinatly thier both tube amps, as i will never go back to solid state and thier pretty cheap...well in canada where there made it might be cheaper. The Custom 40 is $600 here so it might be $450- $500 american. Other wise, i dont like fender unless your going for a good clean sound and i would go with the Peavy 210.

Thanks, so far some good suggestions. It kind of sucks that my budget for this is so low but I have to stick to it. I was leaning towards a Peavey (newer ones) myself. I've owned the Bandit112 Transtube and it was pretty punchy. I ended up giving it to a musician friend that really needed it. Unforunately I cant try these out because this is a mail order company that gives me incredible deals. I am looking locally too but where I am theres not many choices unless I want to drive 100 miles to a good store.
