ditto, on the canadianism.
i hail from london, ontario, canada. which is about two hours west of toronto, and two hours east of detroit. this is a ****ty city, and i wish i lived in banff, which is where i am moving to. all around canada is the best country for three reasons: Beer, Women, and Scenery. not to mention of pride of country, and that fact that we created the greatest sport ever. Hockey. actually the beer alone, is enough to make our country great, the others are just bonus'. nuff said

From just outside Pittsburgh, Pa, USA! And I can't say enough on how sh*tty it is living here. It's gotta be the most depressing city on earth, and I've heard the same from others (famous people) who have past through. Needless to say, I plan on leaving soon.

Let's just say I've heard "Vermont? What part of Quebec is that in?" a few too many times from my geographically-deficient countrymen.
I'm living in Lafayette, Louisiana right now though.

You never did answer my question...
If a Texan is called "Tex", what is a guy from Loiusianna called?

Nairobi,Kenya.
Sly,I didn't know you're from Africa. How many people on this are from Africa?
Giza.
I wish I lived in one of those historically rich places.
Mombasa is like that,but it's so,so so.
That question about Tex and Louisianna reminds me of a joke we used to make about our former president;
This guy was dumb.So now, there's this time they are in a dinner party with the Queen of England, and she's drinking Fanta, and she says that she likes fanta, she thinks it's fantastic, and our hombre replies he like coke,he thinks it's cokeolastic!(This,of course, imitating his pronouciation).
You may not get the joke if you're not from around here, but it was really funny. And considering it was about a very disliked dictator....
Addetum:
Whoever came up with the joke didn't realise that heads of states aren't served soda in those formal dinners.
Or are they?and the jokes on me?

Didn't notice you'd asked...
I'm not really sure. I mean, I hear "Cajun," "Acadians," "Coon Ass," it's difficult to decide. Hell, even "Drunk" could be applicable to a large segment of Lafayette natives.

I've heard a couple. I've committed the horrendous crime of using my turn signals many a time. Aparantly, one is expected to maintain the element of suprised when chaning lanes.
That, or the few times I've been in traffic belting out the lyrics to Bing and Purge with all my might and decidedly wild eyes. But that's more of a "let's get the hell away from this crazy frickin' Yankee, brah!" type response.
