Have you even heard of them? Well if you like you metal black/gothemburg and you like to hear some talent d/l or even better buy Hatebreeder!
Seriously, Alexi Lahio has an increadible feel (Somthing which most shredders do lack to be honest even though I still love shred) and he's only 21 and he puts most older guitarists to shame.

They're cool in small doses. Laiho isn't the fastest I know, but he's pretty good at playing classic metal solos.

Btw, people from Finland would kill you if you called them "Gothenburg". Just a piece of advice.

I´m not sure if they really hate ´em. However during hockey games, tension gets very high but when music comes into picture, they´re pretty friendly.

Yeah I know. They don't hate them. But it's fashionable to pretend that they do. Same in Norway for that matter.

Well I wouldn't like it if I were forced to learn a language spoken in only one country, just because the neighbouring country speaks it.

Errmm.. i know COB for the other guitarrist in my band is a die hard fan of COB and he bombards me with tonns of their song and solos when i´m at his house. however.. i wonder where exactly you found the feel in his play. i mean.. hes a great technical player, he can play solos at an awesome speed - especially sweeps.. but .. where is the feel? i have not heard much of it in COB songs.

btw.. if Alixe would shut up and let someone sing who actually CAN sing instead of doing those grunt/scream/deathmetal things, the band would definitely be good.
