I do hope that you mean a slide, as in the thing that goes on your finger. Ry Cooder has some amazing slide stuff.

If it's blues slide you like, the late Duane Allman was one of the best, Warren Haynes [Government Mule] is also very good. You can also go back to the roots where a lot of contemporary sounds came from - e.g., Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Hound Dog Taylor, ... If you want to go way back, try Elmore James or the grand daddy of them all- Robert Johnson. Hey, old EC ain't to shabby either.

Thanks for the info. I contacted both manufactures of these devices. After talking to them, neither one will switch the midi device at the same time that I need the Boogie head to switch. The problem is, 1 is Midi, and 1 is Analog. I want to be able to switch to any channel/feature on the head and have any one of my programmed effects activated simultaneously with hitting 1 button. It seems that the only solution for the moment is to spend big bucks and have one made, which I'd rather not do.
