Emg sa single coil

i m thinking about buying these pickups, can anyone offer some good advice on them? Sound descripton, the qualities of active pickups, plz dont type in saying thier great or they suck with out a reason.

also, what is ur opionion on the emg 81's?

EMG SAs are great for an ultra-clear strat sound. You'll get close to f.ex David Gilmour's sound (he uses 'em). They probably work well for the Malmsteen thing, too.

EMG 81s are very good for metal, especially scooped-mid, skull-crushing stuff. Want Metallica tone? They'll probably get you halfway there.
