Marshall AVT

I have been looking at the Marshall Avt 275 2x12. I think that the amp is really good I just want to know if anyone owns the amp and if they think its worth 800 dollars.

Marshalls are always good buys. i don't own an AVT myself but they are always highly spoken of and are great amps. but i guess that the opinion of an actual AVT owner is better than mine.

Haven't tried an AVT before but from what I hear , they kick serious a$$.

But the model you want is very big... If it's for your bedroom, you should get a smaller one like the avt50.

you know if you're going to spend that much you should check out a Marshall JCM tube amp.

Yeah i know the amp is big and loud. I want it because Im moving into a big house where I will have a big room away from everyone else so i can actually play. Im also starting to jam and gig but the only amp i have is a fender frontman that really sucks. And i dont want a tube amp because the only one I want is a JCM 800 but i can only find them on Ebay. But this amp has a lot of sounds and features. I just want to see what people who have the amp have to say and if they recommend it. Thanks!

If you want some really true, heavy distortion, and can spend the $800, then look for a used Mesa Boogie of some sort, esp. a Dual Recto Road King or something of that nature. Droolworthy tone, unbelievable distorion, and an assload of power.

hey man,
you should just stick with the Marshall i think. it's a great model and it kicks the **** out of the Fender Frontman. i have a Fender Frontman 15R and it can suck my left nut. i hate it with a passion. i guess it's better than nothing but it had the WORST gain and was this really annoying amp that wouldn't just work WITH me. but my Marshall MG15 responds to my every touch. my body and soul cannot be separated from the amp and my guitar when i am playing. but i'm done being poetic now.
i'm just a marshall guy i guess but you should get the AVT275.
