Flat 5ths

What is the easiest way to find flat fiths on any major or minor pentatonic scale? I know whatthey are on the A minor pentatonic cuz I use it alot but how did they get there and if I move the scale up a fret does the Flat 5th go with it?

Take any scale, count up to the fifth note, make it flat, and wa-la, a flat fifth.
