hah, i knew this would work. I got two quesitons for you all. 1. on Metallicas Ride the Lightning album, does anyone have any tips for playing the first track? i dont know the name. i think fight fire with fire but not sure, cause it is WAY fast in my opinion, 2. I dont wana be gross or anything but how do you play "porn" riffs? i dont want them for a "specific perpose" i think it would be cool just to bust out so wacka wacka wackas, like king of the hill, boomhower, heh, well, later!!!

porn is done with a lot of wah wah, with strong funk grooves, at least 70s porn, 90s porn is more of a smooth jazz kind of thing. Not that I'm some kind of a porn afficionado, hehe.

Alot of Fight Fire with Fire is just the low E string played really fast with a palm mute.

How would you do the low E so fast though? the only way I can play a single string fast is by angling the pick alot, then it sounds crappy, but remember that im a begginer, so, anymore pointers? and, thank you http://www.guitarforums.com/gtubb/smile.gif

always start slow and build up your speed...the faster i got the more i realized i wanted to play slower

i started off playing george lynch and malmsteen riffs...now i play more jeff beck and bb king style...alot harder to play bb and jeff licks than yngwies...you may not agree but it is true
