Guys I've just bought a gibson X-plorer i.e the one in this site exactly:

http://www.nancy-g.com/g-photo/gecx582.jpg

It's an awesome guitar - incredible to play... BUT AN ABSOLOUTE F**K TO GET IN ANY KIND OF CASE!

Does anybody knkow where I might be able to get a case for this guitar... I'm not searching for specifically Gibson ones cos they're a bomb... could be epiphone or something else entirely, but where do I search?

Cheers lads.

http://www.musicyo.com sells cases that will fit an explorer, they're for the Explorer knockoff (it's wither the Imperial or Vanguard). Gibson owns the companies involved on the page.

Failing that,
http://www.music123.com
http://www.samash.com
http://www.marsmusic.com
http://www.musiciansfriend.com
http://www.gbase.com

rock on

cool. Thanks guys. Found a reletively cheap one - something like $173 I think. An epiphone one. I know I know it doesn't compliment the guitar but after all it's really the playing that counts isn't it. ;)

Where'd you find an Explorer at? I thought they stopped making those back in the 70's.

Not by a long shot... they're standard production, actually, they're gaining in popularity (thanks in part to Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, The Edge of U2 and Dave Grohl). Epiphone makes em, too.
