Hey, I was wondering if anyone had some expertise at playing sweeps they could share? Thanks.

The only advice I can give on this subject is, start slow, very, very slow.

Yeah, I've tried that, and normally playing fast is not biggie for me, but for some reason I can't seem to speed up enough.

try them with a clean tone first to get your hands on them, and I'm sure you can handle the muting things when the distortion is on.
also make sure that you sound each note on the arpeggio perfectly and precisely before you move on to faster tempo.

there is something i think should help you if you're begining to sweep, start with 3 string sweep, after you master it go to the 4 string, and so on till you reach the 6 string sweep.

Actually, the number of strings doesn't matter much. Some are hard, some are easy. Anyways, just practice.

I know that some 6 strings sweeps are easier than some 3 strings, but it's more logical to begin learning it with 3 string sweeps, bec usualy they are less complicated, and require less time to memorize and to master.

hmm if we are already talking about sweeps..
when im supposed to sweep few strings on the same frets , like

E----------------
B----------------
G----------15----
D--------15------
A-----15---------
E--15------------

How do i do it? move one finger from one string to another?

No, you don't move one finger from a string to another.

It's done like a barre chord, which is having one finger laying over the strings on one fret, but just exactly after picking each string you decrease the load of your finger from it (not removing your finger, slightly touching it) for muting... same with the next strings...

Also you may like to help the muting with your right (picking) hand.
