Here's the story. The beggining of this year I decided to get into guitar playing, so I go to my local guitar shop, look around and buy a guitar. A year later (now) a new guitar shop, which im friends with the owner, opened up. They buy guitars and I never play my year old acustic. So I got their and find out that my $159.99 "wonderful guitar" is work 40 bucks!!! I found the same guitar their new for 60 dollars!!! ARGH I GOT RIPPED OFF!

Always make sure you know what the list price is of the piece of gear you're going to buy, and also the average price they ask for it in the shops.(just check the reviews on harmonycentral.com or something, ALOT of stuff there, with prices)
That way, the chance of getting ripped of gets a bit smaller.
