Just me?

Sometimes when I'm up really late, and half asleep, I turn on a tape recorder and close my eyes. Then I just play. I listen to the tape the next day and have no idea what the heck I was playing, but it sounds awesome. Anybody else do that? lol...

I've got a tape from my highschool music class (we actually wrote our own material in that class), and my guitar work amazes me at times. I'll listen back and say, "damn, I didn't know I was that good." Of course, I'm not that good... but I sound better than I think in retrospect. And indeed, I can't remember what the hell I did.
