I forgot Firehouse. I would put them just ahead of Poison.

I hesitated to call Def Leppard a hair band. Not that there's anything wrong with hair band tunes they were and are great. But Def was really in a catagory of their own. I think some of the best sounds of the 80s came from my speakers when I was playing their cassettes. I remember hearing the first single off Hysteria, "Animal". I remember thinking "great song" the minute I heard it.

I wouldn't call Def Lepard an actual hair band, but they were one of the bands that lead to that era, they where around before all that hair stuff.

I really don't like any of the hair bands that much, but Def Leppard, Poison, and Skid Row are alright.

What´s that Russian band called, Leningrad cowboys i think. Well they are nr1 no doubt about it. Those horns are awsome.
ZZ Top is nr1 in somthing else, I´ll let you figure out what I mean.
