Hey Guys I Know its late but I need Some Help With this goldwave Stuff. Ok I'm Having Trouble Saving My File as An Mp3 It Says I Dont Have something And It says I Need To Download The Program "Lame". But What My Problem Is Is That It Is In A Zip file And I Dont Have Winzip Or Anything Like That And I Cant Download It because I Dont Understand It!! And I Downloaded Winzip Before And I Used It for The time limit and it wont let me download it again. HELP!!!!!!!!

Asuming you're using Windows 98 SE or an equivalent, here we go.

I have Winzip. The time limit is a joke. I've had it for over two years and it works fine, but if you're paranoid about it, keep PK Zip.

Goldwave is telling you that you need and MPEG encoder/decoder. MP3 files are a type of MPEG file. If you have Windows you should have Windows Media Player. This application contains all the necessary encoders that you need for MP3 files. Maybe you have an old version. Go to www.microsoft.com (http://www.microsoft.com) to download Media Player 7.0. It's a hefty download, but it should take care of everything.

If you don't want to do that, just download all the encoders at the Goldwave website and place them in Goldwave's directory and all subdirectories to play it safe.

Not trying to be rude here, but who exactly did your last post help. I believe it was entitled "HA HA HA". I didn't really see the relivency in that post Josh. Let's just remember that there is a limit on everything, including images and jokes, even on this forum. When I come on here I look for posts that have some sort of point to them. Or posts that I can answer for someone. What I'm not looking for is posts that say "haha" with some image that serves no purpose what so ever and takes my computer forever to bring up because there is too many images on the page. Once again I'm not trying to be rude, I just want you to be a little more serious when posting.
