I would have to say that the best tab site that I have been to is http://www.guitartabs.cc They have tabs for guitar and bass and you contribute your own to the site.

I would have to say http://www.mxtabs.com is the best, and they have bass, guitar, and drum tabs. Also, you can submit your own tabs. :D

Yea, I know I've been to mx before. Most of the time they don't have the tabs I need or they are incorrect.

I'm checking out mxtabs for the first time right now, and i must say, it's not as straight foward as guitartabs.cc and i'm not liking the layout much or the fact that the site has all that other stuff on it as well. It means less focus goes into the tabs and so on. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me

i really like mxtabs, but the site is really slow compared to all the other tab sites. also, LOTS of the tabs are incorrect. ive never been to guitartabs.cc ill have to check it out

let us know what you think of Guitartabs.cc Greg. I doubt you'll be disappointed. It's fairly up to date and it has a lot of the oldies as well. I give it 2 very big thumbs up.

*subconcious whispers* "mxtabs is better"

I'd say your subconcious is defective. Send it back and have it replaced with one that works :)

Why would you need drum tabs anyways? If a drummer can't play a song by listening to it then he/she needs to quit playing.
tabcrawler.com mxtabs.net guitar.cc Who cares as long as they work for the person using them =Þ pick one and run with it, most of the time i have to bounch back 'n forth between all three just to find the best tab and i'm not going to say which one has the more accurate most of the time so i don't start a war or anything. I just usually pick the one with the best Dream Theater tabs and go with that one for a while till i find another band to be infatuated with for the time being.

This is why I hate visiting those sites for tablature most are tabbed wrong and pretty sloppy.
I checked out the ozzy section and 98% is totally incorrect. The only one that came even close was a blatant ripoff of Killer of giants tab that i have in 1 of my books...even that is not correct as Jake E. Lee plays it differently in the Ultimate ozzy video. Guitar for the practicing musician (before they became just Guitar) Has the only correct version of that song tabbed out. Also that same magazine has the correct version to lightning strikes tabbed out correctly as well.
While I'm on a roll......The Curt mitchel video instruction to crazy Train, Over The Mountain, and Flying high again...are very correct. So is the Tribute to Randy Rhoads by Cherry Lane (A great company)

i used both guitartabs.cc and mxtabs.net before i came here, and theyre pretty equal, (except mxtabs led me to other useful sites) but u have to realize that many tab sites are just as gud and that "the best tab" site would not have many incorrect tabs and that is something we can only dream of.
but yea theyr both gud

http://www.mysongbook.com is by far the best tab site, considering that you have the Guitar Pro software...

Wow! Thanks for the site aiwass. This site has the most accurate tabs I have ever seen. What's even better is you get to hear it along with the tab thus keeping crap tabs off of the site. Good job! :-)

Do you have the software from before? Cuz the demo version only allows you to compose up to 24 bars. If you want the full version the easy way, Kazaa has it. It's sin, I know, but so is mp3's. With the full version, you can compose as much as you want, and you can print. But I repeat, it's illegal to pirate the software. So do so at own risk...

guitar pro 3 kicks ass! The tabes are so easy to understand and follow the exact pace! If you know any other sites that have tabs for the program can you let me know?

mxtabs.net sucks! I can't even get on it because its taking so long to load, and always says page not found. I finally got through and it didn't even have the tab.
