Sorry I haven't been frequenting the board like I used to. To tell you the truth, I really haven't been playing much guitar during the last two weeks or so. Right now I'm emersing myself in another passion of mine- writing.

I certainly don't plan on *quitting* the guitar, absolutely not. It's just that in the last few months, my practicing became intensely devoted to gaining speed, 3 or 4 hours a day of whatever it took to reach that end. Eventually I kind of burned out, trying to fit that in my life along with everything else. Now, I just need to space myself from it a bit, because when I do start playing again I'm not going to be able to go in with the mentality of "four hours a day of running scales" - which was essentially what I became to understand as the only way for me to go about the guitar. That can't be done right now. So I need a breather to let my mind adjust, then I'm sure I'll be fomented with a new passion for it.

I still visit the board on occasion though. It seems everything is running smoothly. Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know what's going on with me, in case anyone noticed I stopped posting (lol).

Take care, and keep practicing

hack,
are you calling me a frustrated beginnner? You don't know me man, so don't assume to.

river, yeah I have some experience with Sonar but I'm by no means a guru. I know the basic functions of it. What's the problem?

Hey James, I was wondering what happened to you. Would you still be interested in doing some sort of informal collab? I was thinking a jazz/fusion thing. And I promise not to go insane with the key and tempo changes this time . . . LOL.

Ok, sorry for reacting harshly then. It's just I've taken some sh*t from some people (mostly myself) about taking a break, even though in actuality there's no problem with it, I feel overly compelled to justify it.

Christoph, yeah I might be interested... but I wouldn't be able to guarantee... ya know?

river... not sure what "dream station" is.
