ponyone: i remembered a while a go we were talking abotu how difficult lefty trem bridges are to get, and what's worse is that Bigsby dont even do a lefty version...

Well, good news, we were wrong... Bigsby do a lefthanded trem system, I've got a catalouge from Pincott's (an english guitar parts supplier), which also came with an "ALL PARTS" catalouge (which is American), and in the price listing, there are lefty trem systems/ tail pieces etc etc.

edit: http://www.allparts.com , happy hunting

Sweet! I may have to buy one for my upcoming uberguitar...

Now if only Wilkinson made lefty trems... or if I could get a lefty parker trem.

I like righty guitars with lefty vibratos. More comfortable.

See, the right handed guitar/lefty trem (or vice versa) layout is something I am eternally on the fence about. When I try a rightie guitar with a trem, the main advantage is that I can hold the trem arm much more easily while I shred and thus it's more accessible for really fast bends. And hey, SRV did it so it can't be that bad!

But when I strum, or just let go of it, it gets in the way. In the former situation, I bump the part where the arm connects to the trem, and in the latter, gravity does its thing, which is a pain in the ass (stupid newton's law, stupid sun-orbiting crap...).

The latter situation can be overridden by using something like a Wilkinson or Kahler that's fairly low profile, but with a Floyd Rose or Bigsby you're asking for some pain.

I'm still totally on the fence... damn it...
