Haircuts

I wanna talk about hair cuts for a minute. It seems to me that more and more rockers/metallers, have their hair short. Why exactly is this, apart from the the stupid poodle look was ****. But I have long hair n it doesnt look crap. Just wondering what all your guys hair is like.

Leaving it that way until Mother Nature makes me too bald for long hair to be even remotely dignified.

It's good to know I'm not alone in my long hairness. Coz I have been considering givin it the chop. But then I don't wanna look like everyone else.

Long hair is a pain. It's always getting in your face, and if you don't spend all morning brushing and prepping it like a woman, it will look like crap.

Having short hair gives you more time to focus on your music.

I don't spend that much time doing my hair, 5 mins max. N it doesnt interfer with my music at all. I got another 23 hrs and 55 mins to play my axe. As for short hair guys moshin, it just doesnt look right.

very short (about number 4 now, but i had it shave to a number 2 when i had it cut)... just wash it daily, and that's the end of looking after it...

I had them long once but after school was over, work ethic needed shorter hair. Since long hair never got me any money (or girls..) I deceided to cut them.

If I was ever told to get my hair cut coz of work, I'd tell them to **** off. I used to work in a solicitors office n my hairs the same as it is now, long. N they didn't have a problem with my hair, my piercings however I did take out. That's another question. You lot got any piercings? I've got both ears done once, a nose ring, n I used to have my a belly ring, but I had to take it out.

My hair goes from short to long, simply because I don't get around to cutting it. Of course, mine is thick and curly, and goes "afro" if I don't cut it, which is sort of fun.

lol, my hair is completly straight... but kinda gets messy when it gets long...
I'd LOVE to have fro (art garfunkle style :))... it's a shame i dont have the right hair... but yeah, fro's in my oppinion are the best haircut there is... (but not that nasty permed stuff, that looks like pubes).

My hairs long thick n curly, very much like Slash's. N this is not intentional, its naturally like this, n I've had long hair before I even knew who he was. But I use a **** tonne of gel to control it, over wise it does go into a full blown afro.

Shortish, moderately kempt. Excpet when I'm at work (I'm a bellman at a swank hotel), then I gel it back or to the sides. Sideburns about one cm below my earlobes. Blondish brown.

Mine's pretty long, and I intend to keep going. It gets kind of out of control when I allow it to blow free, so I usually tie it back or wear a bandana or band.

Yeah long hairs a huge pain, but it grows on you (no pun intended).

You gotta have something to make you look like a messy rocker. Plus, guys with crew cuts who headbang look like fags.

But bald is an exception.

I actually have a lot of respect for band guys who have buzzcuts, not really sure why. Like the drummer from ministry, probably the only guy in the 10,000-seat stadium with a buzzcut.

Well I normally just let it go until I feel like getting a hair cut. I let it do what it wants to do, just like... with the flow. lol, well it was like down to my eyes and now its like halfway to my eyes. :)

I have short hair, about one or two inches long maybe longer. I get it cut every 3 or 4 weeks. Its cooler, easier to take care of, and when u mosh with long hair it gets pulled. Dont know bout u guys but getting drug around by the hair of ur head isnt very fun.

I'm black,so my afro's real.
Sometimes I comb it out into an afro,sometimes I braid it,sometimes(like now),I just wash it,comb thru when it's still wet,and pat it down like the good boy that I am.
I would love to perm it.That Fijian look.I like it.Or like in the video for "Lay low"by Snoop,Nate Dogg......
I like the way that hair looks.
But whenever I go home(oncea month,I'm in college away rom home)I do the pat down thing.Pepps are way too conservative around here.If I went home with a braided head,that homestead would come screeching to halt.Including the chikens and dogs and stuff,wondering "What the.....?"
But when I start doing real music,my folks will uderstand whatever hairstyle I have.They know these things.
Plus I got loads of "modern" cousins to back my a*** up,so s'all good.
