Hey can anybody help out a poor American down on his luck, I'm trying to find the specs on some late 50's Peerless and Stancor transformers, I've been Google searching for 2 days, and can't find anything of use, the transformers are a Peerless output, Type 16458, and the Stancor's are 54-32 138839, and 46-12 138839,

Any help would be be appreciated, thanks.. I.B. Stymied

Hammond (http://www.hammondmfg.com/) is still making high-quality transformers for tube amps. They may be able to give you a cross-reference. I'd be very leery about using a high-voltage transformer from that period. The insulation is likely to be cracked.

Good luck.

Thanks L, I hadn't thought much about the insulation, these transformers are probaly only a couple months younger than I am, and I know my insulation has a few cracks in it!
