Well folks.. since voices got loud that a chat would be fine i decided to make one. Since the mysticalrealm turkey did never get off the ground i thought it would be a good idea to make an IRC channel.

Here is the link (the applet is hosted on my site for the time beeing, but jon can upload it to this site if he likes)

For those who use different IRC clients, here are the server settings:

server: irc.freechat-network.de
port: 6667 or 6668
channel: #guitartricks

Ps: as for the java applet.. you have to leave the site with the applet open! else you´ll get kicked out again. there will be a blue window popping up - that is the server-connection itself - LEAVE IT BE! DO NOT CLOSE IT!.. after a few seconds a green window will appear - thatz the chat! njoy!

I've just been to the chat site, n it seems to work, but no one was in so I came out.

My brother in law has redone my DSL line, and it's keeping on disconnecting itself, so I guess I'll have to kill him!

Ever heard of a site called Daily Radar? Well, it doesn't exist anymore, but they used to have this funny picture of the day feature. So that's where I got it. I think the caption was something about Pres Bush or one of his cabinent appointees (lol).

I think it's a good idea too. It is a nice tool to get quick answers on questions not worth posting or just getting some 'same minded' people together to talk about whatever they like. I'm sure that if John put's a direct link on it on the GT site there'll be more people present.

Hope it gets approval ! I'm almost certain nobody will dislike the idea !

Don't know if it's my end thats playing up. But I tried to go into the chat room today, but on the Nickname bit it my keyboard refused to work, so I signed in as Yourname, n when I got there it still wouldnt let me type anything. Obviously it isn't my keyboard as I am typin right now, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this?

I'm not into chat but just wanted to congrad. you for your guitar tricks host position.

I know how much you can shred with so much precision (kinda jealous there...) and you will bring some really good tricks in the site.

I don't know when I'll get my internet full time but in the meantime, Hail brother!
