I was told to learn how to play some swing and i dont know where to start. What are some chords scales etc?

Did they tell you to play swing, or to play with more swing?
Because one is a style of music, and the other one is actually playing eight notes with the first of the 2 of a beat that takes 66% of the time... (I love it when I say that kind of meaningless theory crap :D )
