scales

I just read this thing on scales and i discovered its not as complicated as i thought. It gave me some examples of five ones etc. But what i now need it the number for each chord in that key eg C is
C 1
d 2
e 3
F 4
G7 5
a 6
b* 7

but what are the rest ?

I don't even know what notes to play in any scale let alone play one. oh yeah, anyone, how do you bend?(has nothing to do with your sexual orientation)

To bend, push the string up the fretboard if it's one of the thin one, and pull it down if it's one of the bigger ones.
To put it another way, make the strings slide perpendicularly to the frets... A picture or a video might help...

Just another thing, dont know if its any use. But when I do a bend I try n use my 3rd finger where possible, to do the bend, and use my 1st finger to mute the other strings in case I catch any.

Rpger-When you are fretting a string [lets say string 3 or 4]hold down with medium pressure so it doesn't slip and push up between the two fret wires [towards you] . Now fret a note and "pull" the string toward your knees - you'll get it. Play about with it and have fun!

after_shox as far as i know [and that's about all i know] major scales are Tone - Tone - Semitone - Tone - Tone - Tone - Semitone. On the guitar 2frets-2frets-1fret-2frets-2frets-2frets-1fret.

I'm using the "Scales Tabs" from the homepage section. There's a ton and some are pretty straight forward and simple. Others are really complicated. I'm using the scales tabs to learn to pick and fret more fluidly and consistently so that eventually I'll be able to move to something more fun.

Right now though I'm barely aware of the actually chords I'm playing and more interesdted in becoming less clumsy playing anything. Scales and Modes seem to be the ticket.

I'm sure that didn't answer you're question but that scales sections really does have a great bit of info and might be what you're after.
