Chromatic Tuning

I've got a digital tuner to tune your guitar. It also has a chromatic tuner. Although, I don't understand what that is. If you know could you please reply? Thanks.

Im not sure, but I think it means when you have it on, you can play any note and it will tell you if its in tune or not.
