Somebody please!!!!!

Will somebody anybody please go to the rock tricks and listen to the "Faded" tricks I have posted. I really need feedback positive or negative. I tried in the songwriting forum but got no response. can somebody please do this for me?

Don't be frustrated by the lack of reply, there's been a lot of posts these past couple of weeks. As much as some of us whats to help, lack of time may be a factor in you not getting any response. I try to read as much as I can but I need to put a stop sometimes. GuitarTricks is fun an very helpfull but I got other things to do also :) I guess others are in the same situation.

So I've listened to your soundclip.

First of all I don't know that song, is it yours?

Second, I don't like the sound of nails on strings. That's really personnal but I find that on the electric guitar, the sound of fingernails is really amplified. I try to pick with my finger tips instead. It gives a more muted sound but like I said it's really personnal.

I think you should try to make the bass note more loud. You probably pick them with your tumb. The main thing that I see in your sound clip is that you seem to have trouble with keeping an even sound level. It's really hard to do, I know since I don't have it laid down perfectly myself.

You seem to have a good finger dexterity in terms of fingerpicking. It's a good sound clip. Just try to get a more even sound level, that's the one thing I can say.

I take it you only listened to the lead part. It is my own song. I have a 10$ mic so I know the quality can't be great I value your opinion so if you can take a look at some other parts (rythm, intro)tell me if the song is decent. I know my technique isn't perfect.

I've listened to the rhytmn. First thing I can say is that I can figure out the bass and the drums easily, that's a good sign. It means that your rhytmn is well build, well that's what I think.

I'm not into non-muted distortion chords but I can hear your style. I would be interested in hearing the song with bass and drums cause I beleive it has a great potential.

I think you got something great to build on, let me know when you got a version with bass and drums.

A bada** bass line on this track would be nasty :)

I haven't found a decent bassist in this town but I know a great drummer. I'll try to get him in here to work with me if he hasn't pawned his drum set for crack. I do have a demo of the lead, rythm & lyrics on tape so it might sound shady but take a listen and see what you think. It'll be in rock. There are four different parts and then I ran out of room on my goldwave recording shareware is there any free stuff which has lengthy recording room? I also wish we had more space on this site.

Thanks about the server thing but I don't think I have that program. any other Ideas?

I think I got an old version version of DDclip. This program lets you mix three audio track and one video.

Back in the days it was a freeware (or a really good shareware) now it's way better than before but it's not free.

I'll try to dig up that old vresion of the program. It's not a very advance but you will be able to record entire songs with it.

I'll send it to you if it's not too big.
