I became a full-access member in January, 2011. Over the Christmas / New Year Period (2010/2011), I picked up Lisa McCormick's name from the Lessons Section of the Gibson Guitar website then made my way on to Lisa's website. Next, I tried the free 14-day access to Guitar Tricks and I thought, Great Tuition Resource. I like Lisa's material, she does a great job.
Guitar Background: Before I started guitar tuition during November 2005, the only musical notes I knew were nine notes on the treble staff used in Highland Bagpipe music. My tuition continued until November 2009. During that time I managed to pass two Rockschool Grade Exams.
At the moment, my guitar practice is a bit ragged, not disciplined. However, I think your site's courses will help me overcome this. I would like to persevere with acoustic guitar skills and techniques to use in Worship, Country and similar genres.
