Hi Everyone,
I'm new to guitar though not to music as I've been playing organ since my teens. This transition to guitar is interesting to say the least not just because I think in "keyboard" but also my age, as I'm 64 and my fingers are not so nimble. But I'm pleased to be making progress with that F chord.
I find this site to be very helpful!

Hi Canadian Grandma!

Welcome to this site! I'm sure your "keyboard lingo" will be of great use on the guitar. You probably have a really good understanding of how chords and scales fit together already.

And by the way, it's never too late to start :) My grandfather still plays the guitar in a band, and he'll be 87 this year!

Welcome Grandma. We have stuff in common - I'm new to this forum and GuitarTricks, I'm in Canada too and I'll be 64 also on the 16th of this month. Your fingers are not so nimble? You're lucky; mine don't seem to be connected to my brain. What's up with that eh?
