hey , i'm new to this forum , this is my first post...but i just wanted to say that i dont see anything on buckethead here...that guy is so crazy with his stuff it seems that some other people would be into him . I have the following albums of his
1. buckethead land
2. giant robot
3. colma
4. mosters and robots
5. somewhere over the slaughter house
6. funnel weaver
this guy is a major influence on me . i've only been playing like a year or so ..but his style is just so crazy hes so fast and imaginative he also lays down cool bass lines in some songs . if anyone is into him and wants to talk to me AIM style...hit me up on there .

Buckethead rules. I too saw him with Primus (and Incubus), and I was greatly impressed.
As for the bass playing - he's pretty damn good at that too, but he also gets a lot of help from Bootsie and Les.

Does he ever take that bucket off his head? And yes I've heard he smells like KFC.

Welcome to the forum dude. You seem like a pretty friendly dude.
I've seen buckethead on a gun n roses youtube thingy. He was freaky in quite a few ways.

The song "Nottingham Lace" of "Enter the Chicken" has got to be one of favorite guitar solos of all time!!!!!!!!!
Buckethead is the only chicken that can fly!!!!!!!!!!
PS: I heard that Youtube has an imposter posing as Buckethead but I have'nt checked it out. Anyone else heard any rumours?

yeah ive actually talked to him, he's a kid from brazil and plays just like him, from bucketheads super fast chromatic scalar runs to the finger nubbing this kid has go it all, the only technique ididnt see him do was the sweep+tap
i really want him to come here and play but he cant afford a ticket here...

I saw him on a cd I got in a Guitar World magazine a few years back. Never got to hear him play on it because I couldn't get past the retarded bucket on the head thing and the puppet deal. He may be the greatest guitarist to ever live, I may never know. I have never liked silly gimmicks, which is why I never got into Gwar like my good friend was. Am I missing out? Probably, but I'm ok with that. :)
