i'm new here and i'm wondering what a moderator does???
and how can you become a moderator??

They save the world on a regular basis.

To become one you must be chosen by Jesus - or you can act like Bono 24 hours a day.

Or to put it another way they make sure noone comes on an causes trouble etc. and to become one you must ask nicely.

To become a Guitartricks moderator you must be descended directly from one of the original members of the ancient Babylonian mystics at the temple of Marduk, or you can just ask the webmaster about joining up . . .

one day my friend the guitar tricks tibe will suddenly turn against you, and you will be cast out... This is the begining of the moderator initation ritual... You must now survive the next 3 days, no help from any one (no food, no water, only what you can steal), deal with abuse (including physical violence)... keep alert, dont sleep freind, they get you in your sleep... many who begin do not finish...
once you have survived these 3 days, you will have earned your"colours", and will be taken in with Pride as a MODERATOR and a brother in arms... against any trouble making moron, who comes along and says "[anything you can possibly think of] sucks! You all suck... f*** You!"..

or alternatively you could hang around, and wait till jon posts something like "moderator vacancy".. and send him an e-mail...
