Tell me who you think is a great player but kind of forgotten about when we usually talk about who can do this or who's faster. For me I have a few, Uli Roth comes to mind right off the bat,he's influenced a lot of players with his technique and speed but he's not really mentioned along with some of the other great guitarists. My others are Roy Buchanan,Robin Trower and Frank Marino whom Zakk raves about a lot and especially Peter Green who some people have said was probably England's best blues player. So let's hear what you have to say.

Tom Morello is the RATM guitarist.
Gary Moore is definitely underrated and forgotten.
Jeff Buckley.
Alot of people forget that George Harrison was a great guitarist aswell as songwriter.

The hellecasters, those guys are awesome...
Definitely Allan HOLDSWORTH, still stuggling to make money, when he's the biggest thing happening to electric guitar since Jimi Hendrix!

you know I totally forgot about Gary Moore and speaking of which let's also bring up a couple of other dudes that played in a band that Gary also played in.I'm talkin about Thin Lizzy and these dudes Scott Gorham, Brian Robertson and of course John Sykes. Now that dude can play some bad ass guitar.so let's add these guys to the list too.

Randy Rhoads (R.I.P) Just be cause they are not around don't make them gone. I still marvel at his technique on crazy train he also got me into using voltage regulaters to alter my tone. Great article in March's Guitar World.
