???Chord Progression Diagram???

I'm wondering what something is called,
it is a diagram of the different notes of a key, i think, it looks kinda like this:

This looks like the notes of a scale.

This is called a fretboard diagram.

This scale diagram that you posted up looks like a F# Major Scale. You can see how to use these on alot of the guesthost's sections of guitartricks. You can also find alot of them on most guitar lesson sites on the web.
