Hey all
I finally pulled my finger out and got round to recording a song that I've had kicking around for a long while now. I may have even posted the acoustic version of this song somewhere on the forum a few months back.
Anyhow, I decided to rock it up Dudes (and Dudettes :))!
I'd appreciate and comments good or bad:

is that if I could hear it, it would probably have been better :D I clicked your link and the tune was 0 / 0 on the time.. and no matter how many times I reloaded the page.. the link contained no music.

Howard, really sorry about that. I think I had a wonkey widget from reverbnation :). It seems to be working now so please have a listen and get back to me. I've also just put a normal link to it now so you should be able to hear it.

Great job! You did that all there on the puter with that program? Will have to look into that once I learn to get all the sounds I want together...
Was telling the wife as we both were listening to it.. that tune kinda reminded me of the Neverending Story tune.. don't get me wrong.. but just kinda hit me as such.. great job.

The song called I Know Something You Don't Know is proving to be very popular.
Anyhow, drop me a line if you want to know a bit more about recording. I'm no expert but I'm sure I can give you a few tips to get you underway if you'd like.
Thanks again

p.s...I get the similarity too with Never Ending Story..not a bad thing though I suppose :)

Wow! Very nice. The vocals to me sounded very 70's...which I like mixed with more modern instrumentals...perfect mix in my opinion. The female voice in this song is special.
I recently wrote my first song..."One Day in July". It is a song about the death of my wife. I have it tabbed on the guitar (many many rewrites...lol) and the piano. However, Im not sure how to incorporate the rest of the instrumental harmony. Im going to check out the link you provided for mixing. I would really like to be able to play around with some harmonies to see where it could go.
Great songs...definite talent. Thank you.

Your songs are great! Wish you all the best and success!
Regarding with song writing, well I guess it just comes from within. Like what others said, it really depends which comes first. I think great songs come from wonderful inspiration/s. And I'm saying that in a good way, not insinuating other things. :) Anyway, good luck on your song writing! Have fun!
Cheers to all!
