Amplitube/Irig for Iphone

Hello,
Just joined this site today and have already learned a lot.
I have had the Amplitube on the Iphone and think that it is fantastic. What I like best is just being able to plug in and dial up a song and a preset and play away. WAY easier than going to get a cord, firing up the amp, the stomp boxes etc. Find that I play much more than in the past.

Have not created too many of my own presets and wonder if anyone else has found any good ones. Looking for 70's tones such as:
Clapton
Page
Alvin Lee
Hendrix
Steely Dan
Eagles
Pink Floyd
Grand Funk

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to save actual presets, so either a verbal description or screen prints seems to be the only way.
Anyone out there with anything they are willing to share?

I think Amplitude is a great invention, I'd love to try one out. I don't have any more info on it, maybe someone else will chime in.

Amplitube is awesome! Does the iPhone version work well? Do you get any latency? I use it (and Guitar Rig 4) on my computer and I think they complete each other quite nicely!

I love the iphone version. I have no lag whatsoever. I've never used Amplitube on my PC, but have used Native Instruments and a RockFrog.
Ever since I upgraded to Win7, I can't use them anymore due to latency issues. I've not found a solution yet.

Amplitube for the iphone is not cheap, not perfect, but it sure is great. I have recently been recuperating and the guitar and Amplitube as well as some great on-line lessons (GT!) have kept my sanity.

I've never had any latency with the iPhone version as well.
The only thing I can see Amplitube for the iPhone being useful for is practicing out on the road. Otherwise I'm at home cranking up my Randall rm100!

I'm a beginner player, but I do have the iPhone (3GS) and the Irig adapter for Ampitube.

I do some iPhone programming, and work in technology, so I can tell you, Yes, you can save the configuration of the amp settings and the pedals by going to the preset panel, and either pressing down on an existing preset to modify it, or hold down your finger on a blank button, and you will be prompted for name your new preset. I have created a few, but they are just a newbie player like me fooling around with the rig.
