Here is a pretty awesome video of some super-technical 8-string shredding from Tosin Abasi. He has an instrumental band called Animals as Leaders. I saw them in Seattle. His ability with the guitar is something that I think very few people would ever achieve.

Is it just me or does his picking hand thumb look double jointed? He's got a serious backwards bend going on there.
