Thanks for all the help with recording to my computer. I haven't got around to downloading, I mean buying ;) a copy of Cubase yet but I found a way to record without it.
Just get your regular ol guitar cable or patch cord and buy a 6.3mm-3.5mm converter (about two dollars) and stick that sucker into the Mic jack on your soundcard. Use the windows program Start/Programs/Entertainment/Sound Recorder to record. It's not great, but it works. I used Nero to convert the .wav files to .mp3 .
