Well this is just to say my name's Elyssa ... I have been playing guitar for years, mainly finger picking acoustic folky stuff (my own and other people's) . I want to improve my knowledge of the guitar (scales) and learn to improvise properly and also improve my strumming and learn new techniques. I have been struggling with motivation for years because I am very impatient with myself but now I am more motivated than ever because I realize that what was missing was simply inspiring materials and clear lessons. So far so good. I am quite excited and hope to get better quickly... and be able to call myself a guitarist and not only a singer. If you'd like to listen to my albums (I have done many but the best is the latest) you can find them here http://www.themoonwhispers.com Cheers!

Nice. It is always heart warming for me to see fellow artists on the site, looking to better their sense of musicality. For acoustic stuff, you can check out my lessons as well as by Lisa McCormick. There are a ton of great lessons on that stuff, but I know the lessons by myself and Lisa have a strong focus on acoustic styles. Keep up the good work and I plan to check out your music as well. Welcome! :D
