Anyone has that pedal?

What's the best configuration you've found for heavy distortion and clean sound?

Thanks

but, I dont use it much (Zoom 505 II). I have found Patch A4,5 and 6 Good for distortion.

Patch B5 (acoustic) is the one I use for clean sounds.

If you do a search there are lots of Zoom user patch pages on the web this one is an example

http://thor.prohosting.com/~benkad/.

I've got to admit that i'm a little dissapointed with it and there are probably better sounding/more versatile pedals for the money.

Anyone know which?

If you fiddle with the presets that other people post you can get reasonable sounds, great for messing about at home, but wouldn't consider it for onstage use.

Got ripped off with this pedal.

I exchanged A metal zone, chorus and parametric equalizer for it. I wanted a all-in-one pedal. Sounded great at the store but I'm also dissapointed with the result.

It's a good thing a got a Roland Amplifier with built-in effects. With both on I can get a good sound.

Sometimes you got to learn the hard way I guess...

at posting some patches for you.

Comp Dist Gain ZNR/AMP EQ Mod Dly/Rev Level

Od 26 7 20 C3 H6 24
A pretty good Rockman sound. Use the neck pickup with the tone control all the way down.

24. Awakening L6 OFF -- 6 40 C5 d7 25
Really nice clean tone with delay. sounds like *crap* with humbuckers.

25. Bad Trip A9 dt 28 A7 P5 F8 d8 20
A million different effects at once, not really good for much but sounds cool as hell.

26. Bağlama Simulator L9 OFF -- 4 P3 S2 d3 20
Lambaya püf de.

27. Balls-Ass Distortion C5 Od 6 7 6 C8 d3 24
This patch will rock your balls off sideways!

28. Bass for Your Guitar OFF Ac 1 A5 1 OFF OFF 30
This makes most guitars sound like a bass. Turn bass all the way up on your amp and turn high to 0. Don't turn it to high for your amp's sake. Use your guitar's neck pickup.

29. Big Bass C9 Ac 8 1 1 P1 d1 25
Need a bass for your band but don't have one? Try this and watch the windows rattle!

Comp Dist Gain ZNR/AMP EQ Mod Dly/Rev Level

30. Big Muff Wannabe C1 Ld 25 A7 41 OFF H4 28
I did my best to emulate a Big Muff. It sounds nice, not much noise. Kinda smooth, bassy, and fuzzy. It can do most Smashing Pumpkins songs.

Someone elses patches! have a look here ,http://www.safaricomputers.com/505/

Thats where they came from.

I agree that this pedal (i think box of cheap op amps is more like it) is over inflated, especially in magazines and tests, I think i'll sell mine and get a cheap Wah pedal.
Take it easy.

It's really a better pedal thab i expected when i first
bought one.. though.. it's not a good one to use live..

The wah on the pedal s*x, but the distortion can be good..

I mainly use one patch(that i found out worked best for me).. it sounds alittle different from guitar to guitar,
it sounds really awsomne with my SG copy, but with my Ibanez S1540 Custom, it sounds alittle duller.. i think
it is because the Ibnz got a Floyed and not as much
sustain, or not that much 'wood'-sounding.. it got a more
processed sound..

anyway here's my patch;
Singing Lead
Comp - C9
Dist - Ld
Gain - 26(22)
ZNR/AMP - A9
EQ - 25
DLY/REV - r9(d5)

I use one for riffs and most shredding.. but sometimes i
like to use some more delay.. so i use the one behind..
i love it when it comes to sweeps and sweetaps that ain't
too fast... = )

Anyway.. got another FX-processor that i'll need to learn
to program.. a Roland GP16.. old.. but good.. when u got the good patches, and know how to program it... and it got a midi pedal, that make it alot easier to use live..

i actually like it, but i haven't tried many other pedals
i was looking at some at a pawn shop yesterday and there was this horrible humming. any idea why it was very noisy? i tried two pedals and they were both like that (waw and scream).
