Hi,
I'm new here and this is a awesome site. I practice in the Garage out back so I don't bother the rest of the family. Is there a way to record a jam station track to the hard drive. My internet won't download quick enough that far from the house.

Hey and welcome.
Is there a way to record a jam station track to the hard drive.
The Jam Station tracks are done as a special kind of flash file and as such only work in that application. I suppose you could do a desktop audio capture of one of the tracks.

I think this is a better solution: I have the original audio recordings of all my Jam Station backing tracks. And I will gladly make MP3s of anything I made for a student. Just let me know. :)

I can't speak for the other instructors, but you are welcome to ask them directly in their instructor forum.

Christopher,

That would be great. I have been mostly working from the lessons you have on the pentatonic scale. Now I'm ready to try it with some back ground tracks. I don't have any pacific one's in mine so just send me any I should start with.

I will ask Hanspeter as well.

I have been mostly working from the lessons you have on the pentatonic scale.
This tutorial has 24 MP3s you can download for blues pentatonic playing.
http://www.guitartricks.com/tutorial.php?input=406

This tutorial shows you how to use them:

http://www.guitartricks.com/tutorial.php?input=826
http://www.guitartricks.com/tutorial.php?input=244

There is another MP3 in this lesson on pentatonic:
http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=13146&s_id=737

Scroll down in the lesson page and click on the downward pointing arrow to download the MP3 to your hard drive and use at will.

And for future reference, please don't put your email address in public forum posts! That is a SPAM magnet. So you might want to edit that post and remove your email address. :)

Ok I see how to download the lesson with the down arrow. I can't find any kind of download arrow or any way to download the 26 MP3 backing tracks.

Thanks for all you help.

Go here:
http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=10926&s_id=406

Scroll to the bottom of the page. There are two MP3 player interfaces with the white downward pointing arrow. Click to download. The top one on each page is the slow one at 80 BPM (Beats Per Minute); the lower one faster at 120 BPM.

Scroll to the top of the page, hit NEXT, repeat.

Make sense?
