Hey Folks. I just discovered reaper while surfing the forums here last night. Up until now I've been recording with Riffworks Line 6 edition. Riffworks came with instant drummer. But now that Ive discovered reaper, I'd like to get a vst drum program. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've considered trying this but haven't got around to it. Seem cools and has some level of editability and also the ability to mix levels on each 'drum' (ie - snare vs. bass drum etc).

I've been using EZ Drummer in Cubase SX3 for a few years. I like that it is very flexible and easy to edit/mix. Don't like the snare, change it with a click of a button. Need more room mics, just adjust the fader.
I record the midi drum parts using a set of Roland V Drums, then assign EZD to the midi track in Cubase. I can adjust timing, add or delete crashes or just play as recorded. And again, EZD is very flexible. You can use it as a stereo pair or assign it to multi-track. And they have alot of add-on kits and percussion.
Here are a couple of tracks I produced using EZD.

Good luck with your search!
EDIT: I should note, I'm more of a guitar player than drummer...I drum enough to get by on my demos.
Peace,
Mark
