Just wondering if this is gone for good?

I see there hasn't been a backing track posted since January even though there was fiar a bit of discussion at the end of the last thread showing interest in it continuing...

This used to be my main reason for coming to this forum and I note a lot of the old participants havent posted in a while either... :(

I thought with all the new members that it would have been a big attraction?

Hi Superhuman,

I'll bring this up to the crew's attention and see what the dealio is.

That is definitely a good idea :)

This feature wasn't run by GT staff. Some forum members were running it.

I noticed too that it hasn't been happening and when I asked, they said they just hadn't had the time to keep it going.

I wonder if anyone would volunteer to get it going again?

Neal would be a natural, but his schedule is very tight already.

The job is to find/make a royalty-free backing track and post a thread, then later announce the winner.

If anybody is interested, send me a PM?

Hi Jon,
I don't mind hosting the backing tracks and all of the entries over at mp3unsigned.com - I'll stick together a free GT page so the entries can be catalogued month by month and kept as a library. It's my site so I can do whatever I want in terms of track numbers on the page etc;-)
I'll PM you more details later if that's cool.
