Just my guess, but I think even lefties read left to right? (English, anyway. :) ) I have never heard of left handed tab.

It might a little more difficult for you if you are trying to learn chords from diagrams (ie - a diagram that shows a neck and finger placement on that neck). If you are learning actual songs from tablature, then you should be ok since that just references points on the guitar and translates for left or right.

Good point, JeffS65. I didn't think about diagrams. At worst, maybe you can flip them in some image s/w if it comes to that. What a pain. :(

Hi Micarus, you probably already have, but i was wondering if you'd remembered to re-adjust your string lengths at the bridge ?
Such that the bass E string is the longest and the top E string is the shortest
Best done with an electronic tuner with a needle display

Thanks for the input fellas, Yes I have adjusted the string lengths and tuned it with my electronic tuner. the Tab that I used to use was diagramatic but as you correctly point out I can use the standard tab and figure it out that way, <I guese>

Cheers MIKE.

Hey Mike,
My friend had a motorcycle wreck, and lost a lot of use in his right arm. He said the hardest part was figuring out the chord positions. He knew how to make them, it was just a matter of switching them around. Everyone already said that the tab will be the same for you. I would think the chord diagrams would also be, just done with the right hand instead of the left.

You could try taking a photo of a chord diagram, and then reverse it. I think all you want to do is flip it, you could also get some tracing paper, trace the chord diagrams, and when you flip it over it will show what you need. The letters will be backwards, but at least things will line up for your right hand.

I know it will be quite a task to reteach yourself to use the right hand for chording, and many kudos to you for doing this. keep at it, and let us know if we can do anything else to help you.

Thanks Sixpicker , think you are right and good idea to use "photo flip" to turn them over also I never thought of using tracing paper--Doh!
Of I go to try that out.

Cheers again for all who replied. MIKE.
